We have expenses. We pay to make sure our friends can get items they need for daily living. We enable people to visit. We recently paid $286 (!!) for the transcript of Donald Zepeda’s 1 1/2 hour sentencing hearing (if you need proof that our justice system is stacked against the poor, there’s an example!).
