We’ve been puzzled over Judge Amy Berman Jackson’s over the top performance ever since her unhinged rant against Joanna Smith in April 2024 when she memorably said Joanna didn’t think about “actual people”. Here’s our take on what she was REALLY saying when she sentenced Tim Martin back in October 2025.
“So I’m gonna say the Little Dancer is a SHE/HER: “…your cavalier performance put HER at risk”, “SHE can hardly stand”. Hahahahahaha!!!! “they don’t move HER” (about this last one, we’re just gonna ignore that the millionaire director of the NGA testified that they’ve moved HER no less than 20 times…).
“SHE’s hurting. SHE’s a victim. SHE’s confused. SHE’s fragile. Oh poor, poor, poor, poor, helpless, HER! SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE SHE!!!!
“Yeah. Tim Martin, you’re in trouble, ya loser…. What you did is pretty much the same as an assault on a GIRL, huh? Not just a conglomeration of wax, glue, wood, fabric and what not!
“You say your Little Dancer shenanigan was about protecting your kids? Not true!!! You don’t care about them. I KNOW because I’m GOD, or at least I think I’m GOD in this courtroom where everyone laughs at my jokes and calls me “Your Honor”. I’m a perfect judge of character. I read your mind. I KNOW FUCK ALL!
“Little people cleaned up your mess “on their hands and knees”. That’s what the millionaire director of the NGA said. Gets a certain point across don’t ya think? Plus, gives me a chance to show I care so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so deeply about little people “on their hands and knees”. Always like to make a point about those poor little people. Always say NICE words!
“Never been poor – not even close! Dad was a prominent surgeon. I graduated – TWICE – from Harvard. Went to an expensive, cushy private high school in Baltimore before that – well, not IN Baltimore. Outside. Where the NICE people live.
“You attacked the little dancer GIRL. SHE wasn’t touched or damaged. No one got hurt. And if you take out the magical numbers used by the government, clean up cost about the same as the monthly electric bill for an average house in DC. But “attacked” has such a nice vibe – perfect for the mood I’m trying really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really hard to evoke.
“Now I’m gonna drag your medical history into the light.”YOU CRAZY EXTREMIST, YOU!
LOL. We justice folks, with our perfectly balanced scale and stirring words written in stone, we do the “crazy thing” to environmental activists (and anyone else that threatens our privilege).
“That the oh-so-balanced hand of justice feels the need to consider whether you’re sane – it works. No one’s gonna listen to you or your friends. (I’m already not listening cuz I KNOW FUCK ALL, but this crazy shit makes it easy for everybody else to ignore you too! And me and my rich friends, with NICE Words that prove we care about the planet, get to carry on destroying it.)
“But don’t think for a New York minute that I’ll mitigate your sentence on the basis of insanity. I’m throwing the book at ya! You don’t have a chance in hell of getting your sentence reduced!
“Now, a few obligatory NICE words about protest (hang in there, have to get this out of the way)
“sacredmanygoodchangesconstitutionblahblahblahimportantblahMLKGandhievenMalcolmXFannieLouHamermaybeblahblahblahblahLarryKramersaintsHarveyMilkbutheygayquakerssacrificesuffragettesreallyreallyreallyadmiresupportblahblahblather.
“Done!
“But yo, people in 1960s protests were saints. They always put the toilet seat down and all that! Lunch counter sitters, freedom riders…. “they didn’t hurt anybody else. They didn’t make the ordinary people who work in those places, the people whose lives they were trying to improve, the people who punched a time clock, the people who take pride in what they do, get down on their hands and knees and scrub up their mess.”
“Powerful words! Too bad they’re not true! Hahahahaha. The Freedom Ride bus drivers, they worked for the bus company – weren’t protesters – but took the same abuse as the freedom riders. Bystanders were hurt by mobs in Alabama bus stations. Drivers got blocked trying to cross the Pettus Bridge in Selma by the marchers there – maybe rushing to the hospital to visit a dying friend, or carrying a woman in labor. And everyone knew this before they got in the street (and trust me, Tim Martin, if you were here for a road block, I’d definitely use this shit against you LOL).
You can’t tell me anything. Nothing. Nada, Zilch. I know FUCK ALL!!!!
“But I care so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, much.“
